Student support

As per the guidelines of the UGC under the Act of 1956, the institute has established the Anti-Ragging Committee to maintain peace and order within the college premises. The committee continuously monitors and keeps vigil over ragging to prevent its occurrence both inside and outside the campus.

Objectives

1. To create awareness about ragging and ensure a student-friendly environment at all times.

2. To inculcate a culture of a Ragging-Free Environment on campus.

3. To conduct awareness programs from time to time on campus.

4. To design strategies and action plans to curb the menace of ragging through various activities.

5. To clearly communicate that no act of ragging will be tolerated, and any such act will not go unnoticed or unpunished.

6. To not permit or condone any incident of ragging in any form and to take all necessary and appropriate measures to eliminate ragging.

8. To take strict action against those found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging, whether actively or passively, or being part of a conspiracy to promote ragging.
